What it does
The weight that lets the motor rest.
In a traction lift, the counterweight balances the car plus about half of the rated load. Filler blocks bring the counterweight frame to exactly that weight — so the motor only lifts the difference.

Which weights do you make?
Standard blocks come in 34, 36, 38 and 40 kg, and every batch is weighed. Other weights are cast to order.
Are they in stock?
Yes. Standard weights are kept in stock and can be dispatched the same day.
Can you make a different size?
Yes. We cast blocks to your frame's length, width, height and target weight. Send us your request and we confirm as soon as possible.

Yes. Our filler blocks hold a TSE Certificate of Conformance to Criteria under TSE K 171.
